New 2016 Requirement for Landlord and Property Managers

Beginning June 2016 BAAQMD otherwise known as the Bay Area Air Quality Management District now require Hayward property owners including landlord and Hayward Property Management Companies to include special verbiage in all newly written leases for any property with a fire place aka wood burning device.

These wood burning devises can mean any device that provides heat for a home such as a fireplace or wood heater that is permanently part of the residential unit.

Hayward property owners can be assured that ACL Property Management now places this required verbiage is included in all new leases signed after June 2016.
